Brother James "Nic" Grahmann, F.S.C.
Brother Nic Grahmann began his life-long journey as a Christian Brother in 1944, and has dedicated his life to the educational mission of St. John Baptiste de La Salle. The St. Michael’s community is truly blessed that Providence brought Br. Nic to Santa Fe in 1989. Br. Nic's visionary efforts created the school's first major fundraising programs. Among many accomplishments, the Tipton Center stands as a monument to his vision. His legacy lives on in the st. Michael's High School Foundation. Founded by Br. Nic in 1990, the Foundation works to fund tuition assistance to students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend St. Michael's High School. In 2013, the Foundation hosted an evening with Brother Nic about his vision and focus to create a Foundation that would serve the needs of the students of St. Mikes. Click here to view the video.
