Tuition Assistance Application
Tuition Assistance provided by the Foundation is need-based. In order to have need determined, you must apply for tuition assistance via the FACTS system, a general data and information gathering system.

Other Tuition Assistance
Funds for tuition assistance are awarded based on need, but with additional requirements. All applicants must have a FACTS application on file (Please apply to FACTS and then return here to apply for the tuition assistance listed below). Read further to explore the details of each scholarship to see if you qualify:
Father Adam Lee Ortega y Ortiz Tuition Assistance Award is based on need and an active Catholic faith. Students applying will need to obtain a letter of recommendation from their parish priest and submit an essay (see application for details). Typically, one award of $500 is given per school year in the name of Father Adam. Eligible students will be in 9th-12th grades. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN JUNE 11, 5 PM. Awards will be granted on or around July 7.
Betsy Tapia Scholarship is based on need and excellence in English writing. The Betsy Tapia scholarship is open to incoming Junior and Seniors with a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Students applying will need to submit an essay (see application for details). Eligible students will be entering 11th or 12th grade. There is one award of $2,000 available. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN JUNE 11, 5 PM. Awards will be granted on or around July 7.
This program is for students going to another country in an approved international program to study for a semester. Awards are generated based on incoming applications and available funds for the year. Awards range from $500 - $3,000. The complete application must be received by the Foundation a minimum of 8 weeks prior the when the funds are due to the host agency. Download the application here (pdf).
Emergency Tuition Assistance
The Foundation offers emergency tuition assistance in the event of extenuating circumstance which precludes a student's family from paying on their existing account. Please contact Beau Martinez with the Admission Office by calling the High School's Admissions Office at 505-983-7353 with your request for emergency assistance.
These scholarships are awarded by merit to a student through the recommendations of their peers or teachers. They are non-applicable. The monies provided each year for these scholarships are manged by the Foundation.
Jensen Brown Scholarship is a character-based scholarship awarded to an incoming senior who exemplifies a quality character.
Brother Joe Walsh Scholarship is an academic-based scholarship awarded to an incoming senior who is the top-standing achiever in science and mathematics.
